Happy zombie Jesus Day, everyone. Granted, I sure as hell don't celebrate this holiday, and as most of the people in this apartment (let alone Tokyo itself) are of Japanese descent, I doubt they care either.

However, this holiday has a few good things. Like sweets. Imported ones.

It's rather nice being 20, I must say...everyone still congratulates me on it, even though it's passed and over with. Amusing, I must say.

I met a few of my father's business colleagues recently. They have a daughter. I'm supposed to take her out and show her what Japanese Youth's consider fun minus the taking of virginity. In his words "keep it clean, keep it fun" whatever that means. I dunno, I might bring a friend so she's more at ease

Yesterday was a nice enough day. My father had orchestrated a party for me at wha tI thought was a Board Meeting..

...THAT was interesting.

I don't feel any older.

Today is quiet so far..it was a bit annoying earlier..but in such an amusing way. A few of the secretaries got together and purchased Valentines gifts for me early. I came in to find my office desk filled with their gifts. I can only dread work tomorrow if this is just the early gifts...

I'm on break right now. No meetings today. Everyone is getting ready for the big Board Meeting on Thursday. Father is planning on being home be then, if not the Vice President and myself will head it.

It's nice to be home. Murugu was quite upset and it took hours to calm her and promise her all would be well. She even slept outside the cage last night on a perch near the bedroom window, thankfully shut. No fear of her running away with a locked apartment and windows. The farthest she would get would be the other side of the apartment.

She seemed more intent on talking about current news and remaining close. I daresay if it were possible she was worried about me.

Memo to self: Overindulging in alcohol has it's disadvantages.

Memo to everyone else: Learn proper grammar like what they teach in school. It's not hard to run a spellchecker.

In any case...did I mention that I detest mealy-mouthed little infants? I suppose so, since I just said it here. Oh well.

A new box of movies came in, a gift from my father while he's on a business trip to America.

He always manages to send me the most interesting things. And while he's away his Assistant kindly helps me as I oversee a portion of the Company for him. That's always quite enjoyable, at least to me. She doesn't seem to think so. Oh well. It's nice balancing school with a healthy sum of paycheck for doing very little, especially with Father gone.

Ah, another day is drawing to a close. And what a day it was. I spent it with my father at the offices, observing him as he went through his meetings. He even fired a woman today...it was quite distressing...she had two young children at home and no husband it seems...I do hope she is able to find something to do to care for them.

Barring that little...unpleasentrymy time has been well spent. I received a few new videos from an Ebay purchase. Yes, Japanese horror movies are more subtle...but nothign can beat a good American Horror Classic. I'm stuck on "The Hills Have Eyes" right now. The remake.

Murugu's cage is rather...expansive. Most of it is outside though. Weather allowing I let her remain there. Right now with this cold weather, and she being a tropical creature, I've had one of the other smaller closets redone for her. A few heat lamps and exotic plants work well enough for now.

Well...I've arrived here, if nothing else. Most of my belongings seem to have made it peacefully, so that would be a bonus, if it wasn't how it was supposed to be. I still have no idea why My Father felt it would be best to collect an apartment for myself here...barring that is is rather close to his work.

Other than that, I see nothing of worth so far. I heard that a fight took place a few nights ago...I didn't hear it. A pity. I...hope no one was hurt!
